Bed & Breakfast

This elegant former Vicarage has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by Peter and Amanda to provide luxurious accommodation boasting a host of original features that sit comfortably alongside modern conveniences.

Our self catering accommodation is now complemented by two delightful rooms in the main house available on a bed and breakfast basis.

The Yellow Room – King Size Room

The 'Yellow room' is a glorious sunny room which has a feel of grandeur and is sure to delight. A spacious double aspect room that offers a king size bed, comfortable sofa, TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The adjoining sumptuous bathroom benefits from both free standing bath, large walk in shower and the original hot water storage fireplace dating from 1848.

The Lilac Room – Double Room

The 'Lilac room' is restful and envelops you in a sense of calm. With double bed, seating for two, TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite shower room.

Courtyard Cottage

The Cottage is featured more comprehensively under our self catering accommodation pages, but if you are looking for seclusion with the added benefit of a cooked breakfast feast, then this may be the perfect combination for you.

Full English breakfast is served in the former Vicar's dining room, with views over the garden. Many guests enjoy a leisurely breakfast watching the sheep, horses or visiting wildlife in the adjacent fields. Walkers can plan their day, taking the bridge from the garden, cross the field and find themselves in the open landscape of the Wessex Downs and Ridgeway walks.
