Avebury Rocks, the charity concert combined with a sponsored walk for all ages is returning for its third year on Sunday 13th July 2014.
The day begins with a beautiful 15km walk starting in magical Avebury - some might say the older, bigger and better Stonehenge! The route around the ancient Marlborough Downs also takes in historical wonders such as burial chambers that are older than the pyramids.
Whilst taking in the stunning landscape of Wiltshire, walkers will also be treated to musical stops along the way to rest their feet and catch their breath, up close and personal with the musicians.
The event starts and finishes in the heart of Avebury itself with the finale concert starting at 2pm. Lamb roast, BBQ, veggie food, tea and beer are available.
Those who register to take part in the walk get a free concert ticket, otherwise tickets are £25 for adults, £12 for 14yrs and under, under 5’s go free. The suggested sponsorship for walkers is £50.
